GOAL

Fostering media independence in Bangladesh by strengthening investigative journalism capacity, building skills in digital and physical security, reducing self-censorship, and addressing lack of media freedoms.


OBJECTIVES

Increase independent media capacity for unbiased and objective reporting, and to conduct effective investigations

Strengthen linkages and collaboration between individual journalists, media organizations, and NGOs to address self-censorship and lack of media freedoms

Curriculum development for in-depth and investigative journalism training

Editor and Media Owner Roundtable Discussions:

In-Depth Journalism Training Camp:

Advanced Journalism Workshops:

Fellowships to support In-depth Reporting:

Initiate Informal network of Investigative Journalists:

Organize and implement at least 4 (four) participatory Workshops for Journalists, Media Outlets and NGOs

Main workshop findings will be presented in a summary report

Roundtables between journalists and law enforcement agencies:
