OBJECTIVE 

The objective of the project is to increase understanding among journalists and civil society representatives and public information officers on the use of Right To Information Law (RTI) in government oversight activities and investigation.

Module Development for CSOs “Using RTI to Monitor Government Service Delivery”

Module Development for PIOs “Implementing the Right to Information Law”

In-house Training for Division-level journalists of national and local media (duration: 2 days)

Training for representative of CSOs (duration: 2 days)

Training for Public Information Officers (duration: 2 days)

Handbook for journalist on RTI

Public Advocacy events on RTI (at Chittagong, Rajshahi, Barisal and Khulna)

National Advocacy event on RTI (at Dhaka)

Field visit for journalist
