A comparative assessment of women’s access to information showed that women in fact do not access information with the same facility as men. As a pilot initiative to address the issue, MRDI, with the support of The Carter Center organized a weeklong boot camp involving young women from different educational institutions where they were empowered with the tools of right to information and its power to change their lives. This publication is a brief account of the initiative with a number of success stories.
