MRDI Fact-Check Helpdesk

The MRDI Fact-Check Helpdesk provides real-time verification support to newsrooms in Bangladesh to counter misinformation, rumors, and disinformation. It support journalists and news media in verifying claims, statements, viral content, statistics, images, and videos using open-source investigation tools and credible sources. The Helpdesk is ready to strengthen newsroom capacity to detect and respond to misleading information as well as offer on-demand knowledge-sharing sessions on advanced verification techniques and misinformation trends to support quality and responsible journalism.
