GOAL<\/span><\/p>\n

To prevent HIV\/STIs and other risk behavior among migrant workers, their family members and communities in source areas and destination areas in Dhaka.<\/span><\/p>\n

OBJECTIVES<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\" <\/span> To strengthen overall project management and governance and build internal organizational capacity of implementing partner organizations Management and Resource Development Initiatives (MRDI) and Bangladesh National Coordinating Council (BNCC).<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\" <\/span> To conduct Formative assessments on migration and HIV vulnerability in Bangladesh.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\" <\/span> To review and develop Behaviour Change Communication material for strengthening the outreach to migrants in source and destination.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\" <\/span> To sensitize local CBO\u2019s and gatekeepers (Religious leaders, local leaders, trade union leaders and health care service providers) on issues related to HIV\/AIDS, STI\u2019s and drug addiction in participating countries.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\" <\/span> To conduct outreach program to raise level of awareness and reduce the spread of STIs,HIV and drug addiction among the communities at source and destination places.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\" <\/span> To promote condoms in target area.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\" <\/span> To establish\/strengthen referral services for providing STI care and for voluntary counselling and testing in source and destination sites.<\/span><\/p>\n
