This study examines how mainstream news media in Bangladesh represent marginalized communities by monitoring selected newspapers, television bulletins and online news portals over twelve months spread across three years. It analyses patterns of visibility, omission and narrative framing in coverage related to marginalized groups. The findings suggest that while marginalized communities do appear in news reports, their perspectives are often underrepresented and coverage frequently lacks depth and context.
